Online games have cash systems, right? Well, some people are restricted on credit cards. However, here's a thought:
Some games have gifting systems. Why not do a point-accumulation system to pay for popular online games' cash systems.
Example: Albatross18.
http://www.albatross18.com/
Publisher: GameFactory
Developer: Ntreev (http://www.ntreev.com/)
They have a cash system called the Cookie system. Cookies enable extended user experiences in-game! Here are the prices:
100 Cookies = $4.95 = 4.95-point requirement.
500 Cookies (and 5 bonus cookies) = $9.95 = 9.95-point requirement
700 Cookies (and 20 bonus cookies) = $19.95 = 19.95-point requirement
1000 Cookies (and 100 bonus cookies) = $49.95 = What you require.
( Recipient can only receive up to $100 per month on Albatross18 )
NO login is required for a gift card, the e-mail is the recipient's, the first/last name is the user profile-mentioned name. Game ID must be verifiable. PayPal or Credit Card Required.
A user who finished acquiring the points should be able to click "Cash-out" and they can select the game. If you have PayPal or a Credit Card, get ready to pay for it.
If you add Albatross18 to the list of games, I'll be sure to tell everyone on Albatross18's forum and other fansites.
NOTE: You may need to contact GameFactory via the Albatross18 Website. (hTTp://www.Albatross18.Com/) And contact the game publishers as necessary.

Confused as to what exactly you are getting at here? Our offers do not require a credit card currently to earn free domains... Are you saying we should offer free Memberships to Albatross

No. It's like this:
User completes offers
User acquires (see price list)
User cashes out
You receive request
You guys go to http://albatross18.com/season2/store/store.asp?sid=30
You guys select card via e-mail
You pay for user's accumulated value. (If they chose to receive X amount, you select X amount from there)
You pay via paypal or cc (If possible).
User receives
User is happy
This is for Albatross18. Other games, such as World of Warcraft memberships are on your decision. There are other games through the internet. Check for gifting features.

Thank you for your suggestions, something we can definitley do, how long does say 100 cookies last them in the game for? 1month?
athepro
12-27-2006, 03:07 PM
100 Cookies are valid till used. They last until a user decides to discard them or until their account is banned/closed.
There are no refunds, however. If you double-purchased, you will know.
I forgot to say, there's an event going on. If there is something, so to say, double-value purchasing, you may choose to do that or not. Your decision.
I'll try my hardest to suggest more games.

I'm also doing thorough research.
Avoid Nexon (http://www.nexon.net/)'s prepaid cards because they're not out yet. When they are, target stores are your best bet. They're released January 1st.
Avoid http://www.asiasoft.net/ because you need to log onto the person's account to get in. Plus, their service is exclusively for South-east Asia countries, even with PayPal. (That is, unless you know someone in Singapore who can purchase prepaid cards)
More research along the way...

:P Yeah, you can do runescape. THat would be good. You can buy their service a number of different ways, you can do Credit Card, but then you will need the persons account name/password. This is for runescape membership. If your going to do this, i suggest buying trough SMS/Text Message. They cost 5$ for 1 month. If you do SMS they text message you a PIN Number. You can give people that register that PIN Number and they can use it.

Too bad there's no such thing as HelpMePay services, where someone logs into someone's gaming account or whatever account and purchase w/e for them. Not everyone trusts someone without a certificate on that website.
Such as:
Log into http://maplestory.nexon.net/ and go into an account said by some user and charge Nexon Cash by points accumulated.
Ah well, i'll keep researching.

Which Website? Runescape? Theres an option to buy PIN Codes, and they can give the Pin Codes to their members.
Anyways, it thought maple story was free

No no, MapleStory is a free game. Nexon Cash adds premium items to user experiences. However, last May, the gifting features have been disabled due to scamming and financial losses due to that. I'll try for RuneScape.

Lol :\. Runescape should be good if you buy trough SMS. They have a very strict scamming policy. They easily catch you.

Update: Target stores nationwide will be able to purchase Nexon Cash prepaid cards for MapleStory starting January 2007. You can get the cards and have the codes delivered by e-mail. By the way, I contacted Nexon's public relation services. They said you can do this, but please do limit people to doing offers ONCE A MONTH. As in, each IP address can do surveys once per month and request a game cash service once per month. They say you have every right to suspect someone doing it on a different account.
See http://maplestory.nexon.net/ and check GM Blogs for information.

RunEscape is $10 per month if done via SMS or Phone.
It would require 10 points per month for us to do it for you, but this can be done.

This is a good idea, I don't see it being very ideal for most games. However, like the game he suggested it could go around very good from word of mouth. Who wouldn't like to play a game for free :)

Very good indead, when i can think of more games i can tell you. There are games like Diablo II. But after you buy the game from the store, there is nothing left to buy. You can always buy items, i've done that from diablo before, but then you would be trusting regular people, and not diablo them self.

Awesomeness. (Oh yeah, it's Albatross18, not Albacross18. Just saying, or they'd be gifting incorrect games that don't exist ;) )
Edit: It's just the e-mail that has the incorrect spelling.
